Meet Jasper, a sweet puppy who was abandoned in the middle of a cotton field. Thankfully, kind farm owners rescued him and brought him to a nearby rural Texas shelter. Despite his rough start and facing death row, Jasper remains loving and always happy. He has made many friends, both human and canine, and adores kids and belly rubs. Jasper needs a foster or adopter in Wisconsin to give him the loving home he deserves. Help bring this joyful pup to Wisconsin and give him a chance at a better life! Jasper is tagged for rescue and urgently needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER before June 7, 2024. He arrives to Wisconsin on 6/8/2024. Don't miss the chance to welcome this adorable pup into your life! FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping. For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics. To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.
