Whiskey took his role as "family protector" a little too seriously in his last home. But hey, that's what German Shepherds are for, right? He was a big baby with his family and with people he knew well. But he will do better in a quieter, more predictable household. If your place is party central, Whiskey might not be your guy. If you are looking for a loyal companion who will definitely let you know if that sketchy delivery driver does anything strange, then come and meet Whiskey. He has lived with dogs and cats. Here at the shelter we have found him to be rather gentle and dainty with other dogs. He does not want to be in a wrestling match or a mosh pit. When in playgroups, he prefers dog friends who are gentlemen (or ladies) like himself. Doggy football team? No, sir. Doggy knitting group? Yes, please.
