Meet Riggy! He's a gorgeous 7-month-old purebred Lab, ready to find his new home. Riggy is currently living with his family in Loveland, CO. He's good with other dogs and people, and lives with kids. He has mild resource guarding around kids if food is on the floor --- not a major deal but we're saying it's probably better for his adopters to have kids over the age of 12 in his forever home. He has a bit of separation anxiety, but hopefully some good support and training will help him with that. Thanks.Adoption processFirst you must fill out an application which we will review. Then we will do a phone interview, reference check and finally a home visit before a dog is placed in your home. We ONLY adopt to homes where the dog is an indoor dog, part of the family and treated as such. We stress excellent nutrition, proper training and follow up with all our adopters. We are probably have one of the more thorough and difficult adoption processes... and we love that people want to adopt and don't want to discourage adopters! So please, if you're in a hurry, or not an exceptional furever home - please try other rescues or a SHELTER is a great option too!Shelter locationAll our dogs are in foster homes.You have to go through the adoption process and be approved before meeting a dog. Its an application, two phone interviews and a home visit.
